Dustin Swartz is a native of Moses Lake, having been born in Samaritan Hospital in 1983. In 2001, Dustin graduated from MLHS, after which he attended both Bellevue College and Central Washington University. After college, Dustin returned to Moses Lake to work in the family business doing commercial and industrial electrical contracting. Dustin and his fiance, Pamela, have two children, Kyla (11), and Gwendolyn (7), who both attend school in the Moses Lake School District.
Dustin and his family are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church, and Dustin has sat on the church council for two terms. Dustin is also the president of the Grant County Home Builders Association, and he is on the Legislative Policy Committee of the Building Industry Association of Washington. Dustin is a licensed Washington State Electrical Administrator, and he is enrolled in the Construction Industry Training Council of Washington's Commercial Electrical Apprenticeship, which he will complete in June. In his spare time, Dustin enjoys hiking and the outdoors, cooking, and watching Husky football.
