This project consists of constructing a Community Food Truck Park on a 21,000 square foot site and landscaping adjoining street frontages. Work includes demolition of minimal site improvements. Installation of 300 linear feet of 1.5-inch diameter PVC water pipe, ?170 linear feet of 6-inch diameter PVC gravity sewer, a precast concrete grease trap, various conduits for electrical, lighting and audio. A drip irrigation system will be installed with associated fixtures and components. Fencing relocations and gate installations. Food Truck power pedestals and sewer hook ups, electrical breaker installation, underground electrical power service conduit, handholes, and other miscellaneous equipment. Erection of a 16-column bolted steel structure with reinforced concrete pillar footings and shade sails. A thickened edge concrete slab, concrete inlays & etching, donation pavers, stairs & railing along with sidewalks throughout site. The project will also include HMA paving, a bioswale for storm water treatment, curb cuts for rainwater harvesting, site shaping, boulder placement & soil amendments at designated locations. Restroom pad preparation, placement coordination, and preliminary & final utility connections to CXT “Cortez” precast restroom.

All bids shall be received before said opening time in sealed envelopes with THE COMPASS - COMMUNITY FOOD TRUCK PARK marked plainly thereon. All bids shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a postal money order, cashier's check, or bond in an amount equal to 5 percent of the maximum total of the bid. All bidders shall be on the MRSC Small Works Roster prior to bid opening. Only bids from bidders who have received plans and specifications VIA the Civic Center Annex will be accepted. Copies of plans and specifications are on file for review at the cityofml.com Engineering projects website.
