1. How do I hook up to City water or sewer services?

Property owners seeking to connect to City utilities like water or sanitary sewer should contact the Engineering Department, located in the Civic Center Annex at 321 S. Balsam, and complete a Utility Service Request form for the address. City staff will determine where City utilities are located relative to the property, inform you of all development or reimbursement charges and fees associated with connecting, and walk you through the connection process. 2. I got a red light camera ticket. How long is a yellow light cycle?

The timing of the yellow light cycle on a signal is based on site conditions and speed limits. Typically this duration is 3 to 4.5 seconds. This interval is consistent with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), the national standard published by the Federal Highway Administration that defines the standards for traffic control devices on all public streets and roads. This duration gives all motorists adequate warning for a red light so that their trip through the intersection is completed while it is safe to do so.
