Application period open for tourism projects

MOSES LAKE – The City of Moses Lake’s Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) is accepting applications for 2022 tourism projects.

Hotel/motel tax dollars are awarded annually to groups or entities that work to promote tourism to Moses Lake.

The deadline for applications is noon on Friday, Oct. 1.  Applications must be received in the City Administration Office by deadline for consideration. 

The LTAC's first review of applications is at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Council Chambers where they will expect updates from past recipients and presentations from new allocations. Council Chambers are located at 401 S. Balsam St., Moses Lake.

Past recipients are the City of Moses Lake – Tourism, Columbia Basin Allied Arts, Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation, Grant County Fairgrounds, Moses Lake Business Association, Moses Lake Spring Festival, Sand Scorpions ORV Group and Visit WA for the Moses Lake Air Show.
