Famous Palettes - Part 2 Vincent Van Gogh

Saturday, March 4, 2023

Bright, bold colors are the hallmark of Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh’s work, as he often painted using pigments directly from the tube. We’ll be exploring the possibilities of this bright palette by creating a color chart and painting a motif from one of his most famous works. We will also discuss his interesting, yet tragic life and his struggles to make a name as an artist. All materials are provided. For all skill levels. Museum members eligible for discounts.
