Sleep on the Street 2016

On January 21^st, 2016, starting at 2pm, the Moses Lake Homeless Task Force will be hosting an event at Penhallurick’s True Value parking lot. The event is called “Sleep on the Street”. During the event, four community members will be sleeping on the street, in hopes of increasing awareness about local homeless issues as well as raising funds to support the warming center.

Participants for the event are: Chief Ruffin – Moses Lake Police Department, Dave Balcom – Director, Moses Lake School District, Tim Cloyd – Director of Serve Moses Lake, and Mike Alvarado – Pastor of El Sendero Church.
