Political and Campaign Signs

Sign Placement Standards for City Property

The Moses Lake City Council allows political and campaign signs on some City property and adjacent right-of-way under certain terms and conditions. The terms and conditions are found in the Sign Placement Standards and Sign Placement Agreement.

The City map of permissible locations shows you the acceptable locations for signs covered by the Agreement. See Sign Placement Standards for detailed descriptions of locations.

Anyone placing a sign on City property, including political signs, must execute an agreement with the City of Moses Lake agreeing to be responsible and liable for any damages to the irrigation system if sign placement damages the system. If any sign is placed without the express consent of the City, the sign will be removed immediately. You may contact Code Enforcement Officers, Tina Jewell at (509) 764-3746 or Rick Rodriguez at (509) 764-3753 to retrieve your signs.
