The Building and Code Enforcement Division has the responsibility for administration and enforcement of building and site development requirements as adopted by the Moses Lake Municipal Code.

The Building Permit Application is used for all almost all building permits, including plumbing, mechanical, grading, change of occupancy, tenant improvement, manufactured home placement, swimming pool, and sign permits.

Separate permit applications are needed for fence permits, demolition permits, and cargo container placement permits.

Fence Permit
A fence permit is required before installation of any fence. There is no fee for fences 6' and shorter.

Cargo Container Placement Permit
Placing a cargo container as a storage container requires a conditional use permit and a placement permit. After the conditional use permit is approved, use this form to apply for placing the container.
