Sewer Main Spot Repair Project - 2013

This project consists of replacing 490 lineal feet of 8” sanitary sewer main at two separate locations and installing 50 feet of 10” storm sewer with a new type B drywell at a third location. The project also includes exposing and repairing 13 separate damaged pieces of sewer main in various locations and abandoning an existing sewer lift station wet well structure and removing the existing fence. The project shall include all traffic control, necessary bypass pumping, patching of asphalt, removing and replacing any curb and sidewalk, grading and gravel in alleyways and on road shoulders, repairing and/or replacing any disturbed fencing or irrigation lines that are damaged due to the work to the sewer lines.

Bidding information

Bid Opening: MARCH 6, 2013 at 2:00 P.M.

  • Sealed bids will be received at City Hall, 321 South Balsam, (P. O. Box 1579), Moses Lake, Washington 98837 until March 6, 2013; 2:00 P.M. Bids will be opened and publicly read at that time. 
  • All bids shall be received before said opening time in sealed envelopes with SEWER MAIN SPOT REPAIR PROJECT - 2013 marked plainly thereon.
  • All bids shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a postal money order, cashier's check, or bond in an amount equal to 5 percent of the maximum total amount of the bid.
  • Plans and specifications shall be obtained at the City Hall at the above address for a nonrefundable fee of $30.00
  • Only bids from bidders who have purchased plans and specifications at the City Hall will be accepted. Copies of plans and specifications are on file for review at various construction councils, and via the link above.
