The Contractor shall rewire one existing McCain 350i controller to change from four phase operation to eight phase operation. The Contractor shall remove the existing traffic signal cabinet and signal controller at 10 intersections in Moses Lake and install a replacement traffic signal cabinet and controller at each location that are provided by the City of Moses Lake. The Contractor shall install the City provided LED pedestrian count down pedestrian modules, new pedestrian push buttons, LED 12” yellow balls, left turn LED red arrows, left turn LED yellow arrows, and left turn yield on flashing yellow signs (30”x36”) to replace the left turn yield on green ball signs where indicated in the plans.


The work shall include all traffic control, labor, equipment, tools, and materials required to install the replacement cabinet and controller, to coordinate the work with the Grant County PUD if necessary and the McCain cabinet supplier, to troubleshoot and replace any shorted wires, to complete all rewiring including change to lagging left turn yield on flashing yellow arrow where needed, and to obtain all electrical permits. Additionally, the Contractor shall install the Wavetronix Smart Sensor Digital Wave Radar traffic detection system at each intersection where shown in the plans and specifications.
