The Moses Lake City Council has one vacancy on the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee. Qualified applicants must be a resident within the City Limits and represent an agency that meets eligibility to be a recipient of this funding. The purpose of the Committee is to make recommendations to the City Council for the approval of funding requests for activities promoting tourism. Meetings are held as needed starting in the month of September each year.
The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee is composed of five members. One shall be an elected official of the City who shall serve as chair, two shall be representatives of businesses required to collect the lodging tax, and two members shall be persons involved in activities authorized to be funded by revenue received from the Lodging Tax. The term for all LTAC positions is 1 year at which time to be considered to end or have reappointment.
