Shoreline Master Program

What Is It?

A Shoreline Master Program (SMP) contains the local regulations that affect uses and modifications in the shoreline area, which includes the lake, wetlands, and the first 200 feet of upland.

History

Moses Lake's Shoreline Master Program (SMP) was adopted by the City Council October 14, 2014. It was approved by the Department of Ecology January 3, 2017, and took effect January 17, 2017.
