The Central Basin Traffic Safety Task Force (CBTSTF) is sponsored by the Grant County Sheriff's Office. The task force has bee
n serving both Grant, Lincoln, Ferry and Adams Counties since the year 2000. By collaborating with community members, organizations and law enforcement, the task force provides traffic safety education and enforcement throughout our region in an effort to reduce the number of serious injuries and fatalities due to traffic collisions.

Over time funding for traffic safety enforcement patrols is provided by the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
Booster Seats
WA State law requires kids to sit in the back seat until age 13 when practical to do so. Keep kids in booster seats until the seat belt fits correctly across the shoulder and hip bones, which is at 4'9" tall.
