MOSES LAKE – City facilities are now open to those who have made an appointment.
The City is following state guidance set by Gov. Inslee’s “Healthy Washington – Roadmap to Recovery” plan.
Facial coverings and maintaining a 6-foot physical distance between other people are required. Members of the public who have appointments must perform and pass the COVID-19 self-screen assessment.
The self-screen assessment questions will be posted at City facilities and are as follows:
If you answer “yes” to any of these questions, do not enter City facilities at this time.
When possible, City staff will continue to allow cash-free utility payments over phone, online, and in the night drop, as well as other remote options. Please visit https://www.cityofml.com/69/Utilities for more payment details. Starting Thursday, April 1, customer service hours in Utilities are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
The Museum & Art Center is operating under Phase 3 guidelines and is open at 50 percent capacity. Public events are allowed.
“To ensure all the events and facilities people can treasure, can move forward, vaccinations are available,” City Manager Allison Williams said.
The next public vaccination event is planned for April 3 at the Grant County Fairgrounds in Moses Lake. Follow the Grant County Health District’s Facebook page for more details and qualification requirements.
Anyone who is not yet eligible for the vaccine can log onto the Grant County Health District web page. Find a location and sign up for stand-by. If extra vaccine is available, people on a wait list will be contacted. If you do not see your site listed keep checking back.
